A wallpaper picture converted to 3D anaglyph.
I must say, it is addictive, but so is photographing models when I ever get the chance. Doing the stereo conversions just gives me something to do most of the time, as I haven't had time to do my photography.
Plus, I do like a challenge that tests my brain to try work out how to convert 2D photos. So I will do more conversions, and have one picture, a difficult one, that I am doing bits too once I work out how to do the each section of it.
Its another picture that has glass in it, and I have to sort out what's in the reflection as well as what is on the other side of the glass. Plus I still have to keep everything on this side of the glass clean and tidy too.
Until then, I am just pulling out ones I think I can do.
I had a look at that one and tried to work out what may be different to the challenge I have. Doing a straight reflection is one part, but if you look at the reflection of the 2 people that is in or on the floor, then add something to see through that reflection of them, to something else in the far distance as well, plus something else in between their reflection and the 100s of objects in the distance. So there are at least 3 different levels all mixed in the same reflection that need to be taken out and done, then put back together.
It is just something to keep me interested in trying with 2D to 3D, but it has to end up good or not at all.
And as I have only done a few so far, I am still learning the ways to do different pieces. I now have a lot more respect to those that convert photos, and can see how some conversions have a lot more done to them than more simple ones.
Thanks, I may do more with the babes. My fav type of photography or graphic drawings have always been pin up with a slight naughtiness to the picture. There are many Manga or Anim pictures with girls like that I could do. So maybe more later.
I will still do my photography when the weather cools down, and I start looking for models again though.
